A 1,300 Sq Ft space converted from an empty shell to a craft beergarden with 340 sq ft of backyard and outdoor space.

In the renovation the aim was to keep the original raw element of Alphabet City: objects found on the street or at flea markets have been refurbished and repurposed, like the antique gas chandelier reworked to house replica Edison bulbs.

Brick walls, reclaimed wood ceiling and a 16’ custom communal table were introduced to convey a cozy underground, rough feel.

Abc Beer Co. won the Time Out award for Best Beer Bar of 2013, notably for its cozy interiors.
